Norse Violence Prevention (NVP) Center seeks to consult and collaborate with a Diversity Prevention Consultant to support Northern Kentucky University’s Department of Justice Campus grant. This grant is designated to reduce sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking on college campuses. The Diversity Prevention Consultant will be working closely with NVP Center as well as NKU’s Latino Mentor Program (LAMP). The Diversity Prevention Consultant will be responsible for adaptation of the peer education violence prevention program to the cultural needs of the Latinx student population, implementation of the adapted violence prevention programming, assessment of program effectiveness, and training NKU’s Coordinated Community Response Team in their area of expertise. The timeline for this project is from October 2020 to October 2021. The budget for two years is not to exceed $15,000.
